OBS In Person Breastfeeding Support Sessions

We run four in person sessions a week. On Tuesdays we are at the Barton Community Centre. On Wednesdays we are at the Kidlington Hub. On Fridays, we're at Donnington Doorstep Family Centre at the SOHA Housing Building in Didcot (Rear entrance of Royal Scot House, Lydalls Rd, Didcot OX11 7NN. Look for the red door on the right. Street parking is available), hosted by Didcot Community Partnership. Please book via the Calendly listings below.

Spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential (see our Calendly page below). If you arrive without booking a place you may be turned away. Bookings open 10 days before each session. If there are no places available in the next 10 days Calendly will give the message "No times in" the current month. If you don't get a space straight away, please try again, as they often become available nearer the time.

If you are not able to book a slot in our in person support sessions, you may be able to book a virtual consultation.

Please complete our data collection form after making your booking and before attending the appointment. There will be a link to this in your booking confirmation email. We collect this information in order to comply with requirements of funders and to help us look at equity of access/accessibility for all local families/service users who need our services. Your data will be kept confidential and treated with respect. If you need help filling in the form, one of our team may be able to help you when you arrive.

Please have your baby's red book with you when you attend your appointment.

To give our a team a much-needed break, all of our services will be closed from Friday, April 7th to Sunday, April 16th inclusive. All of our services will re-open as normal on Monday, April 17th. Session booking will remain open as normal with booking opening for in-person sessions up to 10 days ahead

While we're shut, have a look at our resources on common breastfeeding concerns, as well links to other sources of support.

Please book in slots at our in person sessions via our Calendly page below

Session bookings have been divided into two slots. You are welcome to arrive at any time during your slot and to chat to other families and our volunteers before/after you have spoken to the facilitator. The earlier you can arrive, the more feeding support you are likely to get.

We aim to see families in the order in which they arrive, but we may need to prioritise if babies are distressed, ready/ not ready to feed etc. Thank you for your understanding about this. If you will need to leave before the end of the session, please let us know on arrival.

We will keep windows and doors open to improve ventilation.

We are not able to provide feeding pillows or toys at the moment - you are welcome to bring your own.

If you are unable to attend after all, PLEASE CANCEL YOUR BOOKING as places at this session are very limited and this may enable another family to attend.
