If you attend any of our in-person sessions, you will probably be welcomed by someone with a blue apron and a friendly smile. Our volunteers are also a huge help during our antenatal education sessions and on our Facebook group.
The majority of our volunteers are Peer Supporters, who are local mothers who want to give their time to help other families, but we also have volunteers who greet families and help them to settle in at our sessions, and who help with everything from fundraising to our pump loan scheme. Some of our volunteers have gone on to further their education in breastfeeding support and are now accredited breastfeeding counsellors.
